Stayton Fire District is a progressive emergency service delivery agency that has a great appreciation for the value of volunteerism and that recognizes its members as its most valuable asset. With that in mind we have recently completed a revision of our Mission Statement and added a supporting Value Statement to reflect the standards and values of the District, its members, and the community we serve.

The District has a deep appreciation and understanding of volunteer service, therefore we continually strive to create an environment that encourages member participation as well as new membership. Today’s society is very mobile and highly demanding on people’s time. Both of these issues present significant challenges to volunteering so it is critically important to the success of the District that its members choose to spend part of their discretionary time with the District. Everyday we strive to assure that quality people choose to commit their time to this community through the Fire District.

Stayton Fire District understands that emergency service delivery is about providing the best possible service in the most cost effective manner: this is the mission and philosophy we share with our neighboring departments. Recognizing the value of these partnerships with our neighbors is the motivating factor behind Stayton Fire District’s philosophy that "we are all in this together and jurisdictional boundaries are not a factor in providing excellent service".
