We would like to welcome Amanda Palmer to the district as the new Recruit/Retention/Marketing Coordinator for Stayton, Sublimity, and Aumsville. Amanda started December 2nd hitting the ground running, she is studying the grant and learning to navigate the 3 originations. Stop in and say hi.
As the holiday season continues, we are greeted with cold weather and lots of holiday activities.
The season started with decorating the ladder in preparation to bring happiness to the communities. Thanks to Lt alley and coordinating the ladder and santa visits.
Quickly approaching is the Santa Cruz-in Car show and Breakfast, December 7th. This kicks off toy collection and giveaway on December 21.
Amongst the activities we continue to respond and train. We are getting close to utilizing ESO for training entry and tracking. More to come as we finalize some details.
Reminder, we do PPE inspections and cleaning this month. Lt Cross is working on getting inventory sheets to the stations. One thing you can do prior is wash your gear if needed, this includes wildland PPE. Shift crews are more than willing to wash and dry them during the day if you make arrangements with them.
Along with the holidays we are ending another year! Before we know it will be 2025.
