Stayton Volunteer Protection Company #1 is collecting new unwrapped toys and gifts for their Annual Toys for Joy program to benefit less fortunate children in the Sublimity and Stayton Fire Districts. Collection barrels are located at the Sublimity Wooden Nickel, Stayton and Sublimity Fire Stations, Stayton Bi-Mart, Lakeside Assisted Living, North Santiam Credit Union, Starlight Donuts, SadieJaymz unique Gifts, and Rumors.

The Toys for Joy program covers children from birth to 18 years of age that live in our Fire District boundaries. If you would like to help, you can place a toy or gift item in any one of the barrels. Suggested items are toys, books, sports equipment, perfume, bath items, deodorant, arts & crafts, baby toys, video games, hobby items, jewelry, board games, music, music players, bicycles, electronic equipment, or any toy. Anything helps and the Stayton Volunteer Firefighters and Support Members thank you in advance for your generosity and caring during this Joyous Season.

Last year, with your support, we were able to provide a wonderful Christmas morning for some 438 children and we expect to help even more families this year.

If you would prefer to make a cash donation, you can make checks payable to SVPC#1 and mail to: 1988 W Ida Street, Stayton, OR 97383.
