Passing of L. Jay Myers
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of L. Jay Myers, Retired Board Member and Assistant Chief. Jay passed on Saturday, June 14th, at his home.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends.
Jay was a valued and dedicated member and lifelong supporter of the Stayton Fire District. Jay had a passion for the fire service and cared deeply for his Fire Department family. Jay will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at the Fire Station, 1988 W. Ida Street in Stayton on June 29th, 2025 at 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to Stayton Volunteer Fire Association at Stayton Fire District - Donations page.
