The Stayton Fire District will be conducting a Live Fire Exercise on Saturday, March 24, 2018. The exercise will take place at 587 N Third Ave. in Stayton. We will be getting underway at approximately 8:30 a.m. and will be on site until the exercise is completed.
Live fire training provides volunteer firefighters with realistic training in real life conditions. During this training exercise, volunteer firefighters from Stayton and neighboring Sublimity Fire District will be receiving valuable fire experience.

ROAD CLOSURE INFO
Third Avenue will be closed to through traffic at E. Virginia Street and Marion Street; access for local residents and businesses will be allowed during the training. East Burnett St at 2nd and 4th Avenue will be closed to through traffic during the training. Local businesses that are normally open on Saturdays will be open and accessible during the training.HELPFUL HINTS THE DAY OF THE LIVE FIRE TRAINING

- If you have breathing problems, we recommend you leave for the day or stay inside
