^{On Saturday, April 17th Stayton firefighters teamed up with the Muscular Dystrophy Association for a Fill the Boot Fundraiser at 1st and Washington in downtown Stayton. Thirty volunteers from the Fire District gathered at the intersection and asked the community of Stayton to help us fight neuromuscular disease, and her citizens did not disappoint…together we raised $4,255, almost $1,000 dollars more than last year!}
