New Fire Engine coming to Stayton Fire!
Thanks to the recent passing of the bond measure, the Stayton Fire District was able to move forward with the acquisition of a new Type 1 Fire Engine. This fire engine was acquired through Hughes Fire Equipment and is being built by Pierce. We are extremely grateful for the support from our community on the bond approval and the purchasing of this apparatus. Click below for the update on the building process. If everything goes as planned, we are expecting to receive the new engine sometime in September. Once it arrives, we will be training our engineers and firefighters on its operation and getting familiar with it before it goes into service. In the meantime we will post updates on its construction as we receive them.
