Stayton High School Hosts Career Fair

Stayton Fire District was recently invited to join in a career fair hosted by Stayton High School. The three day event was a great opportunity for us to educate students about careers in the fire service. Recruiter/FF/EMT Kintz made three presentations each day and spoke to approximately 300 students during the event. The presentations covered different aspects of the fire service, current career opportunities, and specific opportunities for them to be involved with Stayton Fire. Several interested students picked up Fire, Support, and Cadet Program brochures. This was the first year for the event. We want to thank Stayton High School for the opportunity to speak to the students and look forward to similar events in the future.
