Stayton Stairclimb Team 2012The 22
nd Annual Seattle Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge, which raises money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Foundation is coming up in March. Stayton Fire District will have a Stairclimb team participating again this year. This year’s team consist of 5 climbers and 2 bottle changers who will travel to Seattle to participate in the 69 story (1,388 stairs) climb in full firefighting gear to raise money to help find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma. The team covers the entire cost of the event out of their own pockets and looks only for donations to go to the Foundation. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission is to find a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
