The Stayton Fire District is looking for Volunteer Firefighters for the upcoming Santiam Canyon Fall Fire Academy. Academy lasts for 4 months and includes training in all facets of emergency response. You will learn skills that allow you to repond to nearly every type of emergency and at the same time, meet new and interesting people from your area. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community and what better way is their to give back? We are everyday people just like you, working fulltime jobs and raising families. We are stay at home moms, business owners, farmers, mechanics, students, grandparents, people from all different walks of life. We all have the same goal, to make our community a better and safer place to live. Academy starts in September, so contact us now if you or someone you know is interested!
