More than One Million Reasons to be Thankful! The 2012 Scott Firefighter Stairclimb was another record breaking year - the event sold out in just 65 minutes after general registration opened, Andy Drobeck (Missoula City Fire) smashed the race record with a blazing fast finish time of 10:39, the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb saw participation from 291 fire departments from the United States, Canada and Germany, and... 1550 firefighters raised $1.2 million for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! This year's fundraising total is a $270,000 increase over funds raised in 2011! Each dollar donated for this unique event goes to support LLS's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Stayton Fire District, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the tremendous support we received in making this event such a success.
