Stayton Fire District Receives AFG Grant

Stayton Fire District was just awarded an Assistance to Firefighters (AFG) grant in the amount of $47,500. The grant was awarded for a new Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) fill station and compressor. SCBA’s are the packs that firefighters use when fighting structure fires.  The new breathing air system will be more reliable and efficient than our current system and is important to the health and safety of our firefighters.
