Fire Extinguisher Classes

The Stayton Fire District is offering FREE fire extinguisher classes. The next classes will be held at our Mehama Station on February 25th, 2012. 2 Classes will be offered that day, the first class will be from 10am-11am, the second class will be from 11:30-12:30.

Please take this time to educate yourself and family on how to properly use a fire extinguisher, and learn other life saving tips on fire safety. Each class lasts approx 1 hour and each participant will receive a free ABC fire extinguisher. The extinguisher class was created locally thanks to a generous grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program - Fire Prevention and Safety.
