There have been numerous calls regarding road conditions and where to find sand bags. Here are some resources for you.

Knife River continues to have an adequate supply of sandbags/sand and volunteers to assist with filling and loading.
Sand and Bags are available at Siegmund Landscape in Mehama
Sump Pumps are available through Summit restoration. However they are not for sale, they are available to be installed and rented as needed. Contact Summit directly for mroe information. (503) 769-4333

If you are aware of other road closures in our area, or severe conditions that you want the public to be aware of, please feel free to make a post on our Facebook Page.

If you would like to volunteer your help during this event, you are welcome to go to Knife River to see what their needs are.

There is stilla lot of standing water on the roads so please stay at home if you can, otherwise drive safely.

****The Governor has now declared Turner in a state of emergency.***

What is going on and anticipated at this time:
~All residence to Voluntarily Evacuate to higher ground.
~DO NOT shelter in place!
~**THERE WILL BE NO NIGHT RESCUES**~

~All gas lines will be shutting off.
~Corban University Gym is our Red Cross Shelter. (Additional location TBA)
~A Unified command has been established.
