Chainsaw class – we will be offering a basic chainsaw class on May 1 and 2. The focus of this class will be wildland operations, maintenance, falling and working with down trees. A follow up email will be sent out next week with registration and class information. Instructor is a certified S-212 instructor and class includes a full day of chainsaw use in the field.
Spring is a good time to go through your wildland gear and make sure you have everything. We will be issuing headlamps to everyone that doesn’t have one, it will be your responsibility like the rest of your PPE to make sure the batteries are good and the headlamp is working. There will be a few spares carried on BR80.
